Originally from California, Sarah joined the choir at St. John’s when she moved to Cambridge in 2019 and has been an active member of the young adult ministry and music at the parish ever since. She teaches music theory at MIT and holds a doctorate in music history and theory from the University of Chicago. She earned her undergraduate degrees in math and piano performance at Scripps College in Claremont, CA.
